One of our clients, Allmark Sweets, have been running a social media campaign on Facebook, which they are hoping will go viral.

The sweet shop in Renfrew decided to have 2 rag dolls made, replicating the rag dolls in their website logo.  The idea of the campaign is that the rag dolls go to a different location each week and a video or photo of them is posted on the Allmark Sweets Facebook Page

This week, Xtensive took their turn and took the 'Allmark Kids' to Manchester United v Liverpool at Old Trafford.  A fun day was had by all and we wish Allmarks every success with their campaign.

We have been working with Johnstone TOA taxis to provide them with a taxi fare calculator. 

This new system which is now implemented gives their customers the chance to get an estimate of the cost of their taxi journey from one point to another.  This can be done by postcode, address or place (an airport for example, or city centre).

The page requests a start point and end point and calculates the route on a map, returning the directions from Google directions and then goes on to calculate the estimated price for the journey for both a saloon car and MPV taxi and the phone number to call to make the booking.

The 2012 Golf Invitational website goes live today at www.golfouting.co.uk as we are ready to accept registrations for the 2012 event.

The Invitational is on Friday 25th May 2012 and is sponsored by Xtensive Ltd.

The website is built on the Joomla CMS platform and allows users to register for the event, including handicap and contact details.  Register users then have access to areas of the site that the public can't see.

Renfrewshire Referees Association recently approached Xtensive Ltd to overhaul thier old website and bring them up to date with the latest technologies.

The Association have some of the top Referees in Scottish football amongst their members and have a strong training initiative which is proving to produce excellent quality football referees for the future.  Their website is at http://www.renfrewshirereferees.org.uk

Xtensive have built the new site on the Joomla 1.7 platform, giving the Association a sophisticated and easily maintained CMS.

The Association now also have their own Facebook, Twitter and Google+ pages which Xtensive created and integrated into the website.
