How do I take online payments?
A common question we are asked is how payments are accepted online. We take care of all that for you either by simply using Paypal, or by using our recommended secure online gateway which is Sagepay. Both these options offer extremely secure acceptance of online payments and ensure that the money is in your bank before the goods are despatched.
For companies that deal with customers on account, we can also provide that facility for payments on orders.
Do I need my own server?
Big Commerce is a SaaS product, which means Software As A Service. This means that you pay a small monthly fee (as low as £16 per month) to use the service, but you have a complete hosted solution provided for that small monthly fee. As part of the setup we provide for Big Commerce, all hosting, software updates etc. are taken care of without you having to worry.
Can I still have my own domain?
Yes, when your site is ready to go live, we switch the site onto your domain name. If you don't have a domain name, we can register a domain for you.
How do I see orders and look after my online store?
There is a beautiful 'easy to use' interface for looking after your online store. This is accessible online from anywhere with your own unique username and password. This very intuative admin area allows you to manage orders, customers, products and everything about your store. There are also a huge range of tools and statistics to help you run your store easily and efficiently.
