Back Office System

The back office system that you will use to control your menu range and to process your orders couldn’t be more friendly.  It is web based, so you can control it from anywhere where you have a computer and connection to the internet.  A simple username and password security system gives you access to the welcome screen.

From here you can see your orders, a store snaphot and various stats.

In the interest of customer confidentiality, it is very difficult to show you more detail without breaching the Data Protection act.

There are numerous stats available on the system, which give you great detail of what is being searched for on your site, what are your best sellers and where geographically your orders are coming from.  The latter of these is shown on a Google Map type view.

Customer orders are easily dealt with and packing slips and invoices are only a button press away. Simply change the state of an order from “Awaiting Packing” to “Shipped” or “Completed” and an email update is automatically sent to your customer.

Updates to dishes, price changes, adding pictures are all a breeze with Big Commerce.

Pricing might look a bit confusing.  It is possible to have a website up and running for your Restaurant/Take Away for as little as £1000 plus £16 per month.  The more products you have to sell the more the costs rise.

One consideration when looking at pricing is that as Big Commerce is a software service, it is constantly being updated and improved to provide you with the latest features available in eCommerce.  In 2011, all our Big Commerce customers were provided with Facebook integration. This integration wasn’t at extra cost, it was part of what you get when subscribing (your monthly payment) to an evolving solution.
